In development over three years, Voxel Quest is arguably the most complex 3D engine developed from scratch by a single person. It is also one of the only engines where every single entity is truly volumetric and entirely procedurally generated. It has undergone at least four different major revisions and utilizes various ray tracing and rasterization methods to achieve a totally unique look.
